TECHED.FSU.EDU promotes outreach activities by Florida State University faculty and staff promoting technology education with the goal of helping people pursue technology careers. We are trying to provide helpful technology learning resources for students, teachers, and community members. And since we believe technology is best learning by doing, we provide learning activities to help you learn by doing.

This effort focuses on several common skill sets:

• office skills (Google Tools, MS Office Tools)
• programming
• databases
• web development
• cybersecurity

We will provide additional study lessons and activities as we expand.

I hear and I forget.

I see and I remember.

I do and I understand.

Probably made up in the 1960’s but it resonates with our experience

We focus on helping you learn by doing, so these learning resources are built around computer activities you can do. We encourage you to find a partner or two to help complete these activities; partners streamline learning and increase enjoyment. Despite the stereotypes, learning technology is a social enterprise and using technology is as much about people as it is about computers.

So have fun, learn to use technology and do great things.
